The 1968 Barnet Council election took place on 9 May 1968 to elect members of Barnet London Borough Council in London, England. The whole council was up for election and the Conservative Party stayed in overall control of the council. There were 60 seats divided into 20 wards of 3 seats each. The Conservatives won 56 seats, Labour 3 and the Liberals 1. There were also 5 aldermen, all of whom were Conservatives.
