DescriptionLandsat Data Continuity Mission Observatory testing.jpg |
English: Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) Observatory Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) undergoing testing at Orbital Science Corporation's Gilbert, Arizona, location. EMI/EMC testing is conducted in order to validate that while the Observatory is on-orbit in space, all Observatory components (including the instruments) can operate successfully together. After successful EMI/EMC testing, the Observatory will be prepared for a series of mechanical tests next month to validate that the Observatory can survive the launch environment. |
