Deutsch: Der Wasserfall Harsprånget (früherer Name: Njommelsaska) war der größte Wasserfall des schwedischen Flusses Lule älv", bis der Wasserfall durch Schwedens größtes Wasserkraftwerk Stora harsprånget mit einer Leistung von 977 MW trocken fiel. Die Chromolithografie von Carl Svante Hallbeck aus dem Jahr 1856 zeigt den Wasserfall in der Polarnacht mit drei Zuschauern am Lagerfeuer, von denen einer steht und das Polarlicht beobachtet.
English: This chromolithograph from the year 1856 shows the waterfall Harsprånget in the polar night with the aurora borealis. The waterfall Harsprånget (former name: Njommelsaska) was the largest waterfall of the Swedish Lule River. Today there is the largest hydroelectric plant in Sweden Stora harsprånget.
