The book's cover art by illustrator Francis Cugat was first published in April 1925; hence, the cover art resides in the public domain in the United States because it was published (or registered with the U.S. Copyright Office) before January 1, 1926. Furthermore, any mechanical scans/photocopies of the cover likewise reside in the public domain as they do not qualify for independent copyright protection. |

This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: The original cover has been digitally restored and enhanced by User:Flask via Adobe Photoshop using a variety of methods: Scratches were removed; torn segments were replaced using auto-fill; a seam was added to imitate the original contours of the book; the color was improved; a light grain was added; selected color shifts were used, as well as numerous other changes. This restoration process took several days. Modifications made by Mechanical scan/photocopy of the 1925 original cover.
