English: The natural pond reconstructed as a drainage solutions of the municipality area as well as for the leasing purpose for the fisheries has been completely stopped due to growing Water Hyacinth population which is blocking the sunlight from reaching the water level and blocking the growth of the flora and fauna of the pool. Gradually the pond became a huge liability of the authority as the annual cleaning costing it lakhs of rupees every year. |
