The UVM Cellular, Molecular, and Biomedical graduate program or UVM CMB is a post-graduate program at the University of Vermont. Since it's inception in 1971, the program has grown to become an interdisciplinary graduate program comprised of over 10 research departments, including: Animal Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Medicine (Cardiovascular Medicine, Immunobiology, Infectious Disease, and Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care), Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, Pathology, Pharmacology, Plant Biology, and Surgery. Over 80 faculty members at the University of Vermont are currently affiliated with the CMB graduate program.[2]
