Calliope Street (/kaeliop/) or (CAL-ee-ope)[1] a street in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Running through both Gert Town and B.W. Cooper uptown neighborhoods, the majority of the street resides in Downtown New Orleans, as part of the Central Business District, or CBD. The street is walking distance from many of New Orleans's main attractions that intake hundreds or thousands of tourists every year.
