Abū ʿAbdullāh Muhammad ibn Idrīs al-Shafiʿī (n'árabe, ابو عبدالله محمد بن إدريس الشافعيّ), xurista musulmán que vivió ente 767 y 820. Les sos enseñances xurídiques llevaron a la formación de la escuela Shafi'i de la Fiqh (or Madh'hab), de la que tomó'l so nome. Por esta razón #llamar usualmente Imán al-Shafi'i. #Considerar el fundador de la xurisprudencia islámica.[3]
