Hegau er et landskab formet af tidligere vulkansk aktivitet i den sydlige del af den tysk delstat Baden-Württemberg beliggende i området omkring Singen (Hohentwiel), mellem Bodensee i øst, Rhinen i syd Donau i nord og den sydvestlige del af Schwäbische Alb mod vest
Det mest kendte bjerg i Hegau er vulkankeglen Hohentwiel, med ruinerne af en fæstning på toppen.
Hohentwiel er den sydligste af en række vulkankegler i Hegau, f.eks Hohenkrähen, Hohenstoffeln, og Hohenhewen.
I Frankerrigets tid var Hegau et administrativt gau (provins eller landskab). Områdets latinske navn „in pago Egauinsse“ er kendt siden år 787. 47°47′42″N 8°45′00″Ø
