Rick Rubin

Frederick Jay Rubin (født 10. marts 1963 i Lido Beach, New York) er en amerikansk grammy-tildelt producer meget kendt for sit arbejde med rap og heavy metal såvel som "American series" albummene med Johnny Cash. Rubin er en hovedfigur i sammensætningen af rap og hård rock/heavy metal som førte til alternativ metal og nu metal. MTV kaldte ham "den vigtigste producer af de sidste 20 år" i 2007.^[1]
