Der Ave ist ein Fluss in Portugal mit 85 Kilometer Länge. Das hydrologische Einzugsgebiet umfasst circa 1390 km². Durch Industrieabwässer ist der Fluss stark verschmutzt. Über den Ave führt eine römische Brücke, die Ponte São João.
