Tuggeranong ist ein Stadtbezirk von Canberra, der Hauptstadt Australiens. Er ist 159,9 km² groß, umfasst 19 Stadtteile mit insgesamt 90.410 Einwohnern (2003) und liegt am Murrumbidgee River in einem Tal der Brindabella Range. Die Stadtteile entstanden zwischen 1974 und 1992, über die Hälfte davon Mitte der 1980er Jahre. Die Bebauung konzentriert sich rund um den Lake Tuggeranong, der 1987 gestaut wurde. Höhlenmalereien und ausgegrabene Gegenstände deuten darauf hin, dass die Aborigines hier bereits vor 21.000 Jahren lebten. Tuggeranong ist ein Aborigine-Ausdruck, der „kalte Ebene“ bedeutet.
