2021–22 Kentucky Wildcats men's club soccer team
Sports season / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 2021–22 Kentucky Wildcats men's club soccer team represented the University of Kentucky as associate members of the Southeast Collegiate Soccer Alliance (SCSA), one of six national regions formed to help determine bids to the NIRSA National Soccer Championships. The team played its home games in Lexington, Kentucky and played against other non-varsity collegiate teams across the country. This was UK's first year back with NIRSA after being removed from the league in 2019; however, due to NIRSA policies had to play as "associate members". This meant that they were ineligible for the regional and national tournament, must schedule all their own games, and must play at least 3 games against SCSA opponents; a requirement that was fulfilled by UK.[1][2]
