The 2023–24 season is Al-Ittihad's 48th consecutive season in the top flight of Saudi football and 96th year in existence as a football club. The club are participating in the Pro League, the King Cup, the AFC Champions League, the Arab Club Champions Cup, the Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

This season saw the club signed the Frenchman and former Ballon d'Or holder Karim Benzema, who is considered as one of the best strikers of all time. He signed a contract for three years having him stay until 2026.
