The winner will qualify for the 2026 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup to be held in Wavre, Belgium and Amstelveen, Netherlands.[3] The Netherlands are the two-time defending champions.[4] If Belgium or the Netherlands win this tournament or if these two countries face each other in the final, the highest ranked team will qualify.
The top six team from the 2023 edition qualified directly for this edition of the tournament.[5] The last two teams will be the winners of the two sets of EuroHockey Qualifiers taking place in Vienna, Austria and Dublin, Ireland in August 2024.[6][7]
