Cardinal-Infante Afonso (23 April 1509 – 21 April 1540; Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐˈfõsu]; English: Alphonzo) was a Portuguese infante (prince), son of King Manuel I of Portugal and his wife Maria of Aragon.
