In the Epic Cycle, Antinous (also Antinoüs; Latin: Antinous) or Antinoös (Ancient Greek: Ἀντίνοος, romanized: Antínoös means "opposite in character, resisting"), was the Ithacan son of Eupeithes, best known for his role in Homer's Odyssey.
