Apochromat

An apochromat, or apochromatic lens (apo), is a <a href="/en/Photographic_lens" title="Photographic lens" class="mw-redirect wl">photographic</a> or other <a href="/en/Lens_(optics)" title="Lens (optics)" class="mw-redirect wl">lens</a> that has better correction of <a href="/en/Chromatic_aberration" title="Chromatic aberration" class="wl">chromatic</a> and <a href="/en/Spherical_aberration" title="Spherical aberration" class="wl">spherical aberration</a> than the much more common <a href="/en/Achromat" title="Achromat" class="mw-redirect wl">achromat</a> lenses.

An apochromat, or apochromatic lens , is a photographic or other lens that has better correction of chromatic and spherical aberration than the much more common achromat lenses.
