Artyk (Russian: А́ртык, Yakut: Аартык, romanized: Aartık) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Oymyakonsky District of the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 130 kilometers (81 mi) from Ust-Nera, the administrative center of the district,[2] on the right bank of the Nera River, just above the mouth of its tributary the Artyk, after which the urban-type settlement is named. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 509.[3]
