Chakhokhbili
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chakhokhbili (Georgian: ჩახოხბილი) is a traditional Georgian[1][2][3][4][5] dish of stewed chicken and tomato with fresh herbs.
The characteristic feature of Chakhokhbili is to dry-fry chiken without adding any kind of oil.
Its name comes from the Georgian word ხოხობი (khokhobi) which means "pheasant".[6]
