This constituency includes Digapahandi, Digapahandi block and 17 Gram panchayats (Rohigam, Baulajholi, Kukudakhandi, Masiakhali, Jagadalpur, Ankushpur, Dakshinapur, Ballipada,Lanjia, Dengapadar, Bontapalli, Anantayi, Lathi, Mohuda, Kankia, Sahala and Baghalati) of Kukudakhandi block.[3][4]
Constituency didn't existed in between 1967 & 2004. It was revived in 2008 Delimitation[5] and went for polls in 2009 election.
