Sir Douglas Vernon Hubble KBE FRCP (25 December 1900 – 6 November 1981)[1] was a paediatric endocrinologist, general practitioner, and professor of paediatrics and dean of medicine at the University of Birmingham.[2] Hubble was principally notable for research into paediatric endocrinology and publishing a number of papers on the subject, which gave him a national reputation.
