Other names in common use include [xanthine-dehydrogenase]:oxidized-glutathione S-oxidoreductase, enzyme-thiol transhydrogenase (oxidized-glutathione), glutathione-dependent thiol:disulfide oxidoreductase, and thiol:disulfide oxidoreductase. This enzyme participates in glutathione metabolism.
