English: AWM Caption: An Iroquois helicopter from No 9 Squadron, lands in a paddy field, 15 km south east of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Headquarters, to pick up men of the 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), during Operation Bribie against Viet Cong (VC) guerrillas. The helicopters give the troops mobility and speed and enables them to attack the enemy when he least expects it. | |||
