Summary
DescriptionMimas Cassini.jpg |
English: Description from NASA :
In this view captured by NASA's Cassini spacecraft on its closest-ever flyby of Saturn's moon Mimas, large Herschel Crater dominates Mimas, making the moon look like the Death Star in the movie "Star Wars." |

This image was selected as picture of the day on Wikimedia Commons for 30 July 2010. It was captioned as follows: English: In this view captured by NASA's Cassini spacecraft on its closest-ever flyby of Saturn's moon Mimas, large Herschel Crater dominates Mimas, making the moon look like the Death Star in the movie "Star Wars." Other languages:
English: In this view captured by NASA's Cassini spacecraft on its closest-ever flyby of Saturn's moon Mimas, large Herschel Crater dominates Mimas, making the moon look like the Death Star in the movie "Star Wars." Magyar: A NASA Cassini–Huygens űrszondájának felvétele a Szaturnusz Mimas nevű holdjáról. A felvétel 2010. február 13-án készült, amikor a szonda a legkisebb távolságban haladt el a Mimas mellett. A Mimas a 140 km átmérőjű Herschel-kráteréről nevezetes, ami hasonlatossá teszi a Csillagok háborúja több részében is látható Halálcsillaghoz. Dominujący na Mimasie krater Herschel czyni go podobnym do Gwiazdy Śmierci z filmu "Gwiezdne Wojny." |
