English: The Robert Simpson Woodward House, now occupied by the Capital Research Center, located at 1513 16th Street NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The Richardsonian Romanesque building served as the residence of the Carnegie Institution of Washington's first president. Constructed in 1895, the four-story building is a National Historic Landmark and a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District. |
