Summary
DescriptionEntrance to Paracho Jan 2020.jpg |
English: Paracho is renowned for its skilled luthiers. At the town's entrance, there is a large guitar statue that honors its rich history. This statue was recently painted white, following significant updates after Paracho experienced an economic boom. The town became a popular tourist destination following its association with the Disney/Pixar film "Coco." In the film, a guitar crafted by German Vázquez Rubio—a native of Paracho—plays a pivotal role. Inspired by the movie, many visitors have traveled to Paracho to purchase guitars from the town that inspired the film's iconic instrument. In his honor, the guitar statue was painted after his famous model used in the film. |
