Sir George Frederic Still, KCVO (27 February 1868 ā 28 June 1941) was an English paediatrician who helped to establish paediatrics as a new discipline.[1] He was the author of five medical textbooks, and publisher of hundreds of papers. Still first described a form of juvenile idiopathic arthritis as well as the common functional Still's murmur,[2] both of which bear his name. He was also one of the first to describe ADHD.[3] He is frequently referred to as the "Father of British Paediatrics".
