The Rhein-Münsterland-Express (RE 7) is a Regional-Express service in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The hourly service initially runs
important station in Cologne, the KölnMesse/Deutz station across the river Rhine, just about 400 metres away from Köln Hauptbahnhof. The stations are linked
between Cologne Hbf and KölnMesse/Deutz (together with all regional and long-distance trains), the Sieg Railway between KölnMesse/Deutz and the Cologne
line west of the Rhine of the Rhein-Sieg-Express and the Rhein-Münsterland-Express (RE 7) were swapped. The Rhein-Sieg-Express now runs from Cologne to Aachen
