The systematic name of this enzyme class is L-threonine:NAD+ oxidoreductase. Other names in common use include L-threonine dehydrogenase, threonine 3-dehydrogenase, and threonine dehydrogenase. This enzyme participates in glycine, serine and threonine metabolism.
