Lindy Cameron Ruff (born February 17, 1960) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player who currently serves as the head coach of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Ruff was previously head coach of the Sabres from 1997 to 2013, winning the Jack Adams Award in 2006, and has also served as the head coach of the Dallas Stars and New Jersey Devils. During his playing career, Ruff played in the NHL for the Sabres and New York Rangers, the former of which he captained.
