Ney (Persian: ني), also known as Neh,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Zarivar Rural District of the Central District of Marivan County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Kurds.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,437 in 527 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,560 people in 656 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,691 people in 762 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
