Otacilio Jales da Silva Neto, known as Otacilio Jales or just Otacilio (born 2 January 1984) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.
In this Portuguese name, the first or maternal family name is Jales and the second or paternal family name is da Silva. "Neto" is a generational suffix meaning "grandson", which is used for someone whose name is the same as their father and grandfather, like "III" in English.
