Pardis

Pardis (Persian: پردیس) is a city in the Central District of Pardis County, Tehran province, Iran,[3] serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] It is a suburb located 17 kilometers northeast of Tehran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 25,360 in 7,228 households, when it was in the Central District of Tehran County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 37,257 people in 11,051 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 73,363 people in 23,938 households,[2] by which time Pardis, the city of Bumahen, and most of Siyahrud Rural District had been separated from the Central District in the establishment of Pardis County.[4]
After the census, Pardis and Karasht Rural District were separated from Bumehen District in the establishment of the Central District.[3]
