The National Company of Radio and Television . Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision (SNRT in French)[lower-alpha 1] is the public broadcaster of Morocco.

It was formerly called Moroccan Radio and Television. Radio-Télévision Marocaine (RTM in French) from 1956 and Radiodiffusion-Télévision Marocaine (RTM) from 1961. Radio-Maroc was one of the founding members of the European Broadcasting Union in 1950 and continued as an active member until 1 January 1961 when RTM changed its affiliation to associate membership. In 1969 RTM was readmitted as an active member.
In 2009, the SNRT became a shareholder in Euronews, initially acquiring 0.33% then later expanding its share to 6% in 2011.[1][2]
In 2021, the government announced, via a televised interview with culture minister Othman El Ferdaous, announced that SNRT would acquire the part-state-owned 2M and private Medi 1 Radio and Medi 1 TV channels, to be reorganized into a public holding group by 2024. [3][4][5] The plan was allegedly conducted under the auspices of royal advisor Fouad Ali El Himma.[6][7] In 2024, it formally acquired 86.3% in shares of Medi 1 Radio, becoming its majority shareholder.[8][9].
On 12 November 2022, SNRT obtained rights to broadcast ten 2022 FIFA World Cup matches, including those featuring the Moroccan national team.[10][11][12] On 5 November 2023, SNRT obtained rights to broadcast the 2023 CAF Women's Champions League.[13].

SNRT currently runs four national radio stations and eleven regional radio stations along with Medi 1 Radio that was recently acquired.[16]
SNRT offers an online portal. The website is managed by SNRT's Interactive Media department.
Since 2022, SNRT-News was launched on the Moroccan Market, SNRT-News is an online news website that publish articles from varied topics in French and arabic language from official sources.
In 2024, the SNRT launched Forja, wich is an online free streaming platform avaible in French and Arabic, Forja come with more than 4000 hours of content, the majority of the content are Moroccan Movies, series, cartoons and documentaries.
