Suntory Holdings Limited (サントリーホールディングス株式会社, Santorī Hōrudingusu Kabushiki-gaisha) (commonly referred to as simply Suntory) is a Japanese multinational brewing and distilling company group. Established in 1899, it is one of the oldest companies in the distribution of alcoholic beverages in Japan, and makes Japanese whisky. Suntory Beverage & Food Limited (サントリー食品インターナショナル株式会社, Santorī shokuhin intānashonaru Kabushiki-gaisha), a subsidiary of Suntory, is responsible for development outside Japan.
