In my posession, I have an Alan Bean signed picture of Earth from the moon and his Apollo patch with the other Astronaughts he was with on that flight. Adamdaley (talk) 03:56, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
I recently added a 2010 photograph of Alan Bean presenting a moon rock to an exhibition in Germany to his page on the German Wikipedia (Alan Bean on the German Wikipedia). Maybe this photograph is also of interest for the English-language edition.
Best regards

Granted, I'm new, but should it be added that one of the bubbles in the book "Artemis" is named after him? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.186.251.96 (talk) 16:28, 29 November 2017 (UTC)

Alan Bean (1932–2018) was an American naval officer, naval aviator, aeronautical engineer, test pilot, and NASA astronaut. During the Apollo 12 mission, on 19–20 November 1969, he became the fourth person to walk on the Moon. This portrait photograph, taken by NASA two months before the mission, depicts Bean beside a mock-up of the Apollo Lunar Module, wearing his space suit without the helmet and gloves. Added reference for "Early life and education," I believe access-date is included for fn 1, added newspaper.com aggregation for fn 7, and renamed bibliography to "Further reading." — Preceding unsigned comment added by QuicksmartTortoise513 (talk • contribs) 05:22, 25 December 2022 (UTC)
Used better reference for fn 9. Replaced fn 9 with better links and reused other links. QuicksmartTortoise513 (talk • contribs) 06:19, 25 December 2022 (UTC)
