The opening to this page states that [Aqualung] is generally regarded as a concept album.
Who thinks that exactly? And where is the attribution for this claim? More information should be provided, I feel.
Also, the page also claims the band's *disapproval* towards this attitude - but no evidence or attribution for that claim is provided.
During the interview included on the 1997 CD release of "Thick as Brick", Ian Anderson explains regarding the genesis of "Brick":
"It probably came about primarily because the thing we'd done the year before which was the Aqualung album had generally been perceived as a concept album, whereas to me it was just a bunch of songs as I've always said."
Which doesn't indicate disapproval so much as disagreement. Moreover, Jethro Tull is Ian Anderson's baby: what he thinks about it is rather more relevant than the opinions of anyone else in the band.
If no evidence for the claim of disapproval can be found, could this part at least be changed?
Could some indication of who thinks/thought that Aqualung is a concept album be inserted?
Th allusion of a "concept album" could come from the fact that song 1 "Aqualung" is referenced in song 2 (Cross-eyed Mary.) Then on side two, My God, which is an indictment of religion is echod again in Hymn 43, then again in Locomotive Breath, only to be summed in the final Wind Up. Indeed one theme of the album is the hypocrisy of religion vs. God. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.127.181.211 (talk) 21:07, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
