@Skjoldbro: hey, just curious, why can't the Ranks and insignia of the Luftwaffe (1935–1945) be included on this page? Cheers - wolf 16:50, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
Should the rank of Soviet generalissimus be included in the table, and if so, shouldn't the rank of US general of armies be included? The generalissimus rank was propsed for Stalin, but it was never actually held by anyone. General of the armies rank technically existed, held by long-retired Pershing, and there were proposals to make MacArthur one in 1945, should he actually command the invasion of Japan as the Allied supreme commander--although he never did get the rank. So both are semi fictitious ranks, mostly honorary and symbolic, but if one is included, the other should be, too, or perhaps both should not be included. 76.93.91.225 (talk) 06:54, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
