It seems to me that the title of this article is very strange. It should read: Dispensation (Catholic Church). The reasons are several:

Well, if this article really is supposed to apply to the Churches both East and West, then it should be adjusted to accomodate the Easterners. It says that the clergy is supposed to be celibate, but this isn't always true. Easterners and even a few Westerners have married priests; deacons are clerics too and they can be married. I would fix it myself but frankly this article is just a total mess and I'm afraid I don't have the time right now to form it correctly. J.J. Bustamante 22:38, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
