A suggestion has been made to merge in the article on the encoding standard used by atm/credit cards into the magstripe article. In general I would be opposed to doing so as mag stripes may have other encodings, but the magstripe article has better documentation on this encoding standard than the page on the standard does (and that page is excessively stubbish). I would instead recommend that the article on the page be expanded using content from the magstripe article as a starting point. 71.211.214.28 (talk) 01:54, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
