Just curious; does anybody know what the silver pole contraptions are along the blvd? They look almost like little mini telescopes or something? What are they for? Kjl (talk) 00:08, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Octavia Boulevard is well-known in planning circles as a pre-eminent example of the "multiway boulevard" street type - a project in which the pre-eminent U.S. researchers on multiway boulevards (Alan Jacobs and Elizabeth MacDonald) directly participated. I think the correct term of art should be used in the article, somewhere at least. I can't imagine why someone would have edited that out, so if there's a strong reason there, please help me out. This page has a lot of info, but unfortunately none of it is supported with citations. Captainroz (talk) 07:31, 15 Sep 2019 (UTC)
