"...which stages the story ad nasuem..." is incorrect; the term is "ad nauseam." If the word is misspelled in the passage being quoted, there should be a [sic] after "nasuem." ~~Mpaniello~~
"Hussein's rule was a repressive dictatorship[12] notorious for it's human rights abuses." You cite that he was a dictator but not that he was notorious for human rights abuses. While it may seem obvious (sic) to westerners it needs a solid citation. -thanks
Noticed typos in "Freedom of Religion" Section:
Typo 1: "A Palestinian man shot for people" should read "A Palestinian man shot four people"
Typo 2: "arrest of the preparator" should read "arrest of the perpetrator"
Typo 3: "the government in a meeting, chaired by Saddam condemned..." should read "the government, in a meeting chaired by Saddam, condemned..."
Typo 4: Saddam's childhood neighbor in Al-Awja was also from a Jewish family, 57.140.64.35 (talk) 05:52, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
The section about Saddam's rise to power actually has very little about Saddam's rise to power and instead contains mostly idle speculation about which Iraqi politicians that the CIA may have assassinated. The Ba'ath and Saddam both rose through a complicated series of wars with both other Ba'ath members, the Hashemites, the Nasserists, the Kurds, and President Arif which isn't even mentioned. These are also the same men that nationalized Iraq's oil, drove Jews out for their homes, allied with Nazi Germany to drive out the British, and robbed Assyrian Christians. The role of a young Saddam and his associates are not mentioned, nor is Kairallah Talfah's gangsterism nor Subha Tulfah Al-Mussallat's deadbeat tendencies mentioned.
