This article needs a lot of work. For example, some parts of the article seem repetitious - e.g. Avatars are discussed in at least five different places in the article; transhumanism is discussed in at least three distinctly separate occasions; etc. And concision is only one among several issues with this article at its current state. 'homo technicus' dates back to at least 1929, and perhaps earlier (I cannot translate the Russian reference), and has a rich history of use throughout the 20th Century - see https://scholar.google.ca/scholar?q=%22homo+technicus%22&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&as_ylo=1900&as_yhi=1940
