Your article is very interesting! I want to try all of the different food trends. One suggestion is to talk about TikTok's role in popularizing these foods more in-depth, because it seems all of these trends were popularized on TikTok. Overall, your article is great and I look forward to reading it once it is completed.

I applaud you for setting out to make an article like this. Lots of information needed, and overall quite tedious to write. I think what you have is working really well, and for your 2021 section just continue doing more of the same. I would recommend perhaps including pictures of the finished dishes where possible, but if they are more obscure recipes where that can't be easily managed then I think what you have works just fine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EthanGilworth (talk • contribs) 16:13, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
See my peer review below. Great article! There is a lot of room for more great information.
I really like how unique this article topic is, especially since this trend will most likely grow from now on. Adding the Notable Figures section gives good insight into where these trends came from. I would suggest adding to the Marketing section to include how this has benefited up-and-coming professional chefs and smaller restaurants that might not get as much exposure as chain restaurants. I also think it would be interesting to touch on the holistic food trend; where uncertified and non-professional creators give advice on different foods that can "cure" or "help" health problems. This is very popular right now but leads to misinformation, which can be harmful. This might align with the existing Body Image section.

TikTok food trends → FoodTok – This article was created two and a half years ago as part of a wildcat (non-WikiEd) student program at Northeastern University. It was rescued at AfD. At that time, the name FoodTok was not in the most widespread use, particularly in RS. This article's proseline structure has lent itself to being a mess and a collection of short-lived trends that has only grown as time has gone on. Add in three WikiEd classes in 12 months. Refocusing the article on the FoodTok community, with mention of some of the most notable food trends that actually made it to reliable sources (and things like Pink Sauce, which shockingly is nowhere to be seen here), would provide badly needed focus and structure. We already have BookTok, which could serve as inspiration. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 06:13, 26 August 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. BilledMammal (talk) 10:32, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
The specific title might be worth workshopping a bit more (I do also think a descriptive title may still be necessary for recognisability despite the disadvantages wrt concision, but it might be something more like "food on tiktok" or "tiktok food community") but I'd agree refocusing the article towards the subcommunity may better serve 5P1, and more specifically our intent of being a summary/overview and WP:NOTEVERYTHING.
