This is a documentation subpage for Template:Wrong venue. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This tag is related to {{Resolved}}, but it indicates that although an issue may not actually be resolved further discussion should take place at another venue
Place the following under the topic heading on a talk page:
{{Wrong venue|WP:DRV|2=~~~~}}
This parameter must be given as |2=
or |reason=
if any of its content contains the =
character.
The template will detect whether the target page exists. If it does, it will automatically be wikilinked. If not, it will not be wikilinked.
It does not support interwiki linking, so brackets will manually have to be added.
To make an additional comment explaining why the conversation should go elsewhere, and/or to sign so that others know who marked the thread:
{{Wrong venue|WP:DRV|The deleting administrator isn't self-reverting. Please take further discussion to DRV where consensus can form. --~~~~}}
