I'm a prolific reader of Wikipedias (since 2004 I reckon?) but created a user account only in 2021 and edit from time to time.
Over all these years I've noticed some changes and developments that I'm not so happy with. Articles tend to get too stuck in details, get poorly structured and are sometimes biased (the coverage of current American politics is a disaster so I won't even touch it). This may be partly due to the fact that the number of very active users in each topic has never been very big and some clans tend to form.
I speak many languages so when searching for some information I tend to switch between language versions and indeed: very often I choose the shorter one, provided that it has credible sourcing.
