Check a few citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article? This page has absolutely no sources, and in fact, it is flagged for lack of citation.
- Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted?
- Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? I feel as though some of the information may be out of date simply because I believe there are more modern day authors that could have some a place on the page.
- Check out the Talk page of the article. What kinds of conversations, if any, are going on behind the scenes about how to represent this topic? There is no information on the talk page.
- How is the article rated? Is it a part of any WikiProjects? The artivle is rated "stub" because it is a lowquality page, and it is rated as high importance as this is crtical information that should be added to an encyclopedia.
- How does the way Wikipedia discusses this topic differ from the way we've talked about it in class?
- Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you? Everything is relevant to the article. However, for being such a large topic, the article is missing a great deal of information/organization.
- Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? The article appears to be neutral and simply states facts of information.
- Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? Nothing appears to be overrepresented or underrepresented aside from the fact that the page lacks a great deal of possible information.
What the article needs:
Overall I would like to add cited information. Not only that, but I would like to add some organization to the page. For example, breaking up the different authors for their time period throughout Honduran history. In addition, I would like to add at the very least a few more authors with information, but also add authors on a list so people could add to it in the future.
