Yalamanchili Satyanarayana Chowdary (Telugu: యలమంచిలి సత్యనారాయణ చౌదరి ) [/ˈjɛlɑːməntʃɪlɪ/ (yɛləː-mən-chili) /ˈsəθjnɑːrɑːjənə/ (səth-yə-nɑrɑa-yənə) /ˈtʃəwðəriː/ (chow-dhəry)] popularly known as Sujana Chowdary is an Indian politician who is also the chairman[2] and principle founder of Sujana Group of Companies. Chowdary is from the city of Hyderabad in the Ranga Reddy District of Andhra Pradesh.
Born in Kanchikacherla, he was the forth child and youngest child born to Janardhana Rao and his wife Suseela Kumari. Chowdary began his professional career by promoting the Sujana Group of Companies with family and friends in the year 1986 after he obtained his masters from the PSG College of technology, Coimbatore. His philosophy was largely shaped by his interests in promotion of higher technical education, human development, healthcare and social welfare.[1] He was elected unopposed and unanimously as a member of parliament into the Rajya Sabha representing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from him home state of Andhra Pradesh on 22nd June 2010.[1]
