A discussion has begun about whether the article Watermelon House, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Watermelon House until a concensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.
You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Sorry to have to do this. It's a fun article but not notable by WP standards. Wolfview (talk) 05:04, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
The article Diego's Hair Salon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}

Hi APK, I got the WP Bacon invitation too! Anyway, I just started the article Genuine Negro Jig (album), which is very relevant to WikiProject North Carolina (I know you're part of that). The band which released the album specializes in promoting Piedmont folk music and is from Durham. I've nominated it for DYK. Thought you might be interested. --La comadreja formerly AFriedman RESEARCH (talk) 01:29, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

I notice you are one of the few editors that seem to still make edits to the WikiProject District of Columbia pages. Is this still an active project or has it basically gone inactive aside from yourself and the one or 2 other editors that maintain it? --Kumioko (talk) 21:08, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Aw, man! One of your images of DC is about to be swallowed up by the commons(File:American City Diner - Washington, D.C..jpg). Now you made me want to go there. Any tips about it, or is it just a standard retro mid-20th Century diner? ----DanTD (talk) 04:49, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
You are invited to WikiXDC, a special meetup event and celebration on Saturday, January 22 hosted by the National Archives and Records Administration in downtown Washington, D.C.
Please RSVP soon as possible, as there likely will be a cap on number of attendees that NARA can accommodate.
Note: You can unsubscribe from DC meetup notices by removing your name at Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/Invite/List. BrownBot (talk) 01:55, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
"WikiProject Report" would like to focus on WikiProject District of Columbia for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Also, if you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. -Mabeenot (talk) 03:00, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
Go read Vlastimil Koubek. It's new. I want you to take a photo of every building in the D.C. metro area mentioned in that article, and post them to Commons. Get it? Got it? Good! I promise to help. I will take a picture of......... 1100 Vermont, because it's across the street from where I work. (What is this accusation of laziness I hear?? George Eastman's ghost cries every time you lie like that.) - Tim1965 (talk) 02:13, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
I really like your picture of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:APK_during_Snowmageddon.JPG Wondering what brand is your jacket in this picture. It looks great and would love to own a jacket like yours.

Hi APK,
I saw some of your contributions on the DOT article which falls within the scope of Wikiproject: United States Public Policy, and I was hoping you would be interested in assessing articles with the Public Policy Initiative. There is more info about assessment on the 9/13/2010 Signpost. (Personally, I am impressed with your past too, most preachers' kids that I knew just partied hard for a few years, then repented and returned to the fold. I am always impressed by people who are able to reassess the belief system that they grew up with.) If you're interested or just curious you can sign up on the project page or just contact me. Thanks! ARoth (Public Policy Initiative) (talk) 03:28, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Photos of Franklin Tower in D.C. ablaze. (It's my site, or, rather, at least the G-rated one I can list on Wikipedia.) Too bad there's not a "major building blazes in D.C." article. (Or would that be too trivial?) While doing the L'Enfant Plaza article, I learned about the four-alarm blaze at the U.S. Postal Service headquarters building in 1984. I like fire. ("That's where I saw the leprechaun. He tells me to burn things.") If I'd had marshmallows, we coulda made s'mores. - Tim1965 (talk) 00:26, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
